AoT East Bay – October!

This month’s Astro on Tap (AoT) East Bay will be on October 13th beginning at 7:30 pm! AoT is a worldwide event series featuring public, accessible, astronomy-themed talks on everything from the Big Bang to black holes. This month, we have two excellent talks lined up. First, Natalie LeBaron will share about the life and death of stars, and how they scatter ingredients for new worlds throughout their evolution. Next, we’ll hear from Tony Rodriguez about extreme binary stars (did you know most stars in the Universe are not single like our Sun?), and how he now uses his astrophysics skills at Waymo. Come hear these two speak at Two Pitchers Oakland!

Two Pitchers is all ages and pet friendly, and just a few minutes’ walk from the 19th St BART station. Free to attend. Can’t wait to see you there!

We will be holding AoT at Two Pitchers on the second Tuesday of every month! If you want to keep up with event updates, you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook or join our mailing list.
