Arizona Science Center: Girls in STEM – She Codes: Byte by Byte

Get ready to code, create, and compete at this high-energy Girls in STEM event focused on robotics and computer science! Participants will dive into block coding, race their robots in an Olympic-style challenge, explore the world of hacking and cybersecurity, learn to debug and code through hands-on pixel art, and even discover how DNA and coding languages connect through genetic coding activities. It’s a full day of logic, creativity, and STEM-powered fun! This event is generously sponsored by SIM Arizona. Lunch is provided.   Girls in STEM is a series of educational programs throughout the year that encourages interest in science and engineering among female students in grades 4-8.
