ASPB Monthly Club meeting

The monthly club meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 PM. It is a hybrid meeting. In person attendance at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium is encouraged for those living in the area.  A Zoom link is sent to all members via the io. group. The guest speaker will be first on the program with the business meeting to follow.

Guest speaker is Dr. Ata Sarajedini, Professor in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Florida. His area of research is focused on resolved stellar populations in Local Group galaxies. These include field stars, open and globular clusters in the Milky Way, M31, M33, the Magellanic Clouds, and the numerous nearby dwarf galaxies. Dr. Sarajedini is an engaging and dynamic speaker. Attendance in person is recommended. He will update us on the James Webb Telescope.
