There will be a presentation at 7:00pm about the constellations, planets, galaxies, star clusters, and other objects visible that night. Viewing will begin afterwards at 7:30pm and continue until midnight if stars are still visible. This is a special time of year the summer constellations start are visible. We will star hop and map constellations. We will also listen to the night sounds as we wait for the stars to appear.

Attendees should plan on bringing chairs and/or blankets to sit on. Please prepare for chilly nights after it gets dark. White light interferes with night vision, please bring a red flashlight or put red cellophane (park has limited supply) over your regular flashlight. Please make sure not to wear flashing lights, especially children's shoes that flash. Feel free to bring your binoculars or telescope if you have them.
