Astronomy on Tap – Storrs, CT: 10/07 The Milky Way and Beyond

Howdy everyone! We’re happy to announce that October 7th at 7PM at Hops44 , two of our own organizers will be sharing their own research with everyone. We’ll hear from London Willson about the spin of black holes, and some of the challenges that arise when measuring this spin. Samantha Adams will then bring us closer to home with a talk about young stellar objects in the center of the Milky Way.

Their talks will be followed by a round of trivia (with prizes!), so come and show off what you know!

This is a FREE monthly outreach event. While we will not be providing any food or drinks, Hops 44 will have plenty of delicious food for you purchase!
