More Information
On Monday, November 9th at 20:15 (doors open at 20:00), we’ll be hosting the next edition of Astronomy on Tap Groningen at the Kroeg van Klaas!
We’ll be joined by Euclid postdoctoral fellow Pablo Corcho Caballero and recent MSc Astronomy graduate Ioannis Panagiotou from the University of Groningen. Pablo will tell us all about mapping the cosmos with the Euclid space telescopeto better understand its composition and evolution. Meanwhile, Ioannis will discuss the connection between the interiors and atmospheres of rocky exoplanets (that is, rocky planets beyond the Solar System).
As always, we’ll also bring you the latest astronomy news and put your knowledge to the test with our astronomical pub quiz, featuring a special prize!
Admission is free, but a ticket is required. You can sign up via this link.
We hope to see you there!
