Join us at 7:30PM PST, Monday, March 9th for Astronomy on Tap hosted at the outdoor Dog Haus Biergarten in Old Town Pasadena. We’ll hear from USC PhD student Sasha Mintz in a talk entitled: “How the Smallest Galaxies Reveal Dark Matter’s Secrets,” and we’ll hear from Caltech PhD student Tim Proudkii discussing: “How Jupiter’s Moons Became Alien Worlds.” In addition, we will have a telescope on-hand for guided stargazing, professional astronomers to answer your science questions, astronomically-themed pub trivia with prizes, and NASA educational swag!
