Astronomy on Tap Western Mass #17

It’s the last show before our three month summer break and we’re switching things up ever so slightly! Please join us Tuesday, May 19th at New City Brewery in Easthampton, Massachusetts for the 17th installment of Astronomy on Tap Western Mass! First up, Prof. Sinclaire Manning (your host for the evening!) will discuss the probability of finding extraterrestrial intelligence and ongoing efforts to do so. Trivia will be played during intermission, followed by Astronomy in the News. Our second “talk” will be a special “May Mailbag” where local astronomers answer a handful of audience submitted questions covering a range of topics. Admission is free and open to all ages and we suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early. We hope to see you there and raise a glass to the start of summer!
