Citizen Science & eBird!

We will collect data about our migrating birds using binoculars and field guides, as well as a combination of CornellLab websites! First, to get us prepared for expected migrants, we will use BirdCast for our county’s predicted migration. Next, to get us ready to identify our backyard birds, we will double-check our field guides and backyard birds. Then, we will then go out into the field, observe what is on our playground, and collect our data! Finally, we will confirm our observations using allaboutbirds.org, and enter our data into our eBird account.
