EMPOW[HER] Collective Annual Mixer

Thanks to the support of EMPOW[HER] Collective members, the impact of the Collective’s first year has been tremendous! Through hands-on experiences and special events, we’ve reached more than 400 aspiring female STEM professionals.

Current EMPOW[HER] members and all interested female STEM professionals are invited to join us at this special event to celebrate the accomplishments of the first year and look ahead to what’s planned for the future. Please let us know you plan to attend by registering online.

The Discovery’s EMPOW[HER] Collective for Women & Girls in STEM expands the museum’s programming for girls with the goal of keeping them engaged with STEM throughout their education. Women remain underrepresented in STEM career fields – this initiative is a catalyst to change that. The collective is comprised of women working in various STEM disciplines as well as undergraduate and graduate students studying these fields. Through mentorship, networking, and hands-on programs developed and implemented by women in this collective, women and girls of all ages are collaborating to build a community, giving rise to the next generation of female STEM professionals.
