EPIC Design 4 Youth Symposium

In collaboration with Jacobs Institute of Innovation in Education at USD, the UCSD Design Lab, the Prebys Foundation, and the San Diego Foundation, the EcoLogik Institute Presents the E.P.I.C. D4Y Symposium!

This symposium by youth, for youth, is a 3-day workshop where small teams will use design thinking principles to answer some challenge questions regarding youth exposure to nature, then receive funding to put their solutions into practice in their own communities! There will be guest speakers, a completion certificate, food, swag, community-building, tours of the UCSD Design Lab and USD, and much more. 

Basic details:

• Who: For teams of 4-5 rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors + 1 adult mentor (parent, coach, troop leader, counselor, teacher, etc.) - the adult will not be attending the conference, just handling the funds for the group project
• When: July 12th - July 14th, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Cost: Free!
