Fall Picnic and Stargazing Party at CLAP

Come join us out at Cypress Landing & Astronomical Park on Saturday, November 8, 5:00 PM.  The food will be pot luck..... bring whatever you like.  Setting up your gear ON OUR BRAND NEW OBSERVING PAD at approx. 5:00 PM is recommended, and we can eat around 5:30 PM.

I will be running the camera in the dome, and can provide training on running the mount for those who request it.

For an institutional observatory, our facility is developing into one of the best in the area.  Come out and enjoy it.

I will send an EMail out Wednesday, November 5, to confirm the party is on, based on the weather forecast.  If the skies are forecast as cloudy, we will postpone to the backup date, the following Saturday, November 15, same times.

Here's another reason to come out and enjoy the night:  DST ends that night, so Fall back..... you'll get an extra hour of sleep that night.
