More Information

Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop inspired by How Did That Get in My Lunchbox? The Story of Food by Chris Butterworth, beautifully illustrated by Lucia Gaggiotti. Together, we’ll follow the journey of everyday foods from farm to table, exploring how our favorite lunchbox staples are grown, harvested, and transformed into delicious bites! Discover how everyday foods travel from farm to table! Taste chocolate in all its forms – nibs, powder, butter, and more – while exploring where cacao grows around the world. Knead your own bread in a bag. Enjoy hands-on food crafts, fun maps, and tasty bites as we learn the stories behind what we eat. Perfect for curious kids and families!       Part of Flagstaff Festival of Science, a free annual 10-day event wholly designed to promote awareness and enthusiasm for science in and about northern Arizona and beyond, and is fondly known as the Best 10 Days of the Year. Established in 1990, it is the longest, continuously running, entirely free science festival in the world.
