Girl Scout STEM Exploration Day

Join us for an afternoon of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)! In this hands-on experience, Girl Scouts and their families and troops will visit tables hosted by STEM groups to do hands-on STEM activities and meet real role models. This fun-filled afternoon gives Girl Scout troops and families a unique opportunity to explore STEM with the actual experts, as well as learn about careers and different types of STEM. Set up as a fair throughout our building, you’ll go from group to group, learning, exploring, and doing hands-on activities. Groups and activities may vary from previous years, but will be a variety of topics within STEM or STEAM. This event is open to families and troops, and all participants must register. Non-Girl Scout siblings and friends should register as “girl non-members.” All youth must attend with an adult, either as a family or with a troop, and adults must register to attend. No unregistered tagalongs, all attendees must register. This event works towards a variety of badges and a full outcome sheet will be sent after the event with any badge steps covered at the event. Badges are available for purchase in our shops. COVID precautions at the time of event will be followed. Program fees (less the deposit) may be refunded before the program registration deadline (9/13/2023). Cancellations after the program registration deadline (9/13/2023) will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered.
