As part of the 3d Printer Basics series we are doing a hands on class covering basic 3d model slicing for 3d printing. After the essentials we will delve into more complex settings for maximizing your results with 3d prints. Some topics included are settings to help with challenges like like bed adhesion, overhangs, bridging, and optimizing for strength. Also we will cover features for selectively applying settings to certain area of your print. Anyone signed up for the class will be encouraged to email questions and models to the instructor to help make it more relevant. When you sign up there will be a survey prompt with the email address and an input form for questions. No experience necessary. Anyone new to 3d printing should attend and those not new, but wanting to learn more about advanced settings in OrcaSlicer will benefit. This class is best for adults, and kids 10+ with an adult. Younger kids may require more of your help. Sign up to get notices about events you’re interested in. A liability waiver is required before using tools. Anyone under 18 must have a guardian.
