Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: All Abilities Sunset Stroll

Join Ranger Jacque on this barrier-free nature walk. This approachable walk is on a 0.8 mile loop on barrier-free gravel terrain with little elevation gain. We go at a comfortable, strolling pace, pausing at a few stops along the way to discover what makes the Sonoran Desert so unique, making this perfect for beginners, photographers, families, and nature lovers of all abilities! Absorb the beauty of the desert during this short outdoor program. Make sure you bring water and close toed shoes. We will meet at the Merkle trailhead where a picnic area and restrooms are available. Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events.
