Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Discovery Station – Reptiles of the Desert

Join ranger Derik at the Discovery Center and learn about and hold a few of the reptiles found in the Sonoran Desert. Ranger Derik will have a table set up in the Discovery center with a few live animals including a Mountain king snake, Chuckwalla, and Rosy Boa. You will have an opportunity to touch all three and be able to hold various natural artifacts from across the County Park system. You will be able to ask questions and get help identifying the animals that you may have seen at home or in the park.
