Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Night Hike

Come explore the park after dark with Ranger Derik and search for nocturnal creatures that call the park home. The hike will be 3 miles in length on the Quail, Rainbow Valley, and Saddle trails gaining 300ft of elevation. Hikers should bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a flashlight with a full charge or new batteries. Cell phone light will not cut it and the lights tend to run down phone batteries quickly. Water and bathrooms can be found at the nature center. Please note that the nature will be closed so make sure you bring a water bottle with you. PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events.
