More Information

Join Ranger Nikki on an easy/moderate terrain hike to see plant life that may have been invigorated by any monsoon rains. Join Ranger Nikki on a 4.5-mile moderately paced hike to observe cacti, shrubs and any summer wildflowers that may have popped up if we were treated to monsoon rains. If conditions are right, we could see leafing ocotillos, plump saguaros and pops of color from shrubs and flowers that rely on rains this time of year. The route follows Hedgehog, San Tan and Moonlight Trails, which vary from smooth and level to uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. Meeting Location: Main Entrance Trailhead picnic table Map of Meeting Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/tciT6NFi5sTbDrot7 No registration required.
