Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Quiet Nature Art

Feel inner peace outside, by creating with nature. Experience a peaceful process to help you destress and relax in nature. Plus, get the mental wellness benefits of creating. Make your choice of visual, written, or musical art outdoors. This program is a 0.60-mile round trip easy walk on Lion’s Trail, featuring a 20-minute quiet nature art experience by the river. You can also bring your own sketchpad and pencils if you like. Restrooms are available in the parking lot across from the Visitor Center, where we will meet. For maximum comfort, wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring water, and a yoga mat or towel (optional) to sit on. No pets.   MEETING LOCATION: Visitor Center   Limit 6 participants. To register, please call the Visitor Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 9 with your name, phone number, and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Visitor Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.
