More Information

Join us in The Spot at the Jack Russell Memorial Library to Move Some Air! on Wednesday, October 22, at 6 pm. This highly interactive show for kids and their families will introduce the art and science of creating musical sounds! Come check out some very unique instruments including the jaw harp, washboard, banjo-mandolin, resonator guitar, and many more! Kid-friendly music & songs are performed with the kids encouraged to Move Some Air! by singing, dancing, and playing the supplied instruments. Mike Ammons and Alan “Doc” Mock are longtime pals, bandmates, and collectors of unique stringed instruments. They’ve played vintage blues, roots, and folk music together for over 25 years & enjoy sharing special performances with young listeners.
