SAE Mini Baja
September 26, 2026
8am - 9pm
$250 per high school team
Lunch and dinner provided

High school teachers from around the state are invited to assemble a team of students to design and fabricate a 4X4 off-road RC vehicle using digital design, 3D printing, and some off-the-shelf parts to participate in the High School Class of this event. High school students will also have the opportunity throughout the day to engage with several university teams that are participating in the Baja SAE program, where college engineering students design and build full-size off-road vehicles that are put to the test in a dynamic validation event on the grueling course at Briarcliff.

This is a great opportunity for students to see a potential path for them as they make plans after HS graduation. There is a registration fee for each team of up to 12 students which covers the cost of lunch and dinner for the students and teachers. If you are looking for something to truly excite your students about engineering and advanced manufacturing, this is the program!
