Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival: Cottonwood – Chuckwalla Rd. Field Trip

This is a great Trip to end the Festival on. We will meet near the vans to caravan to our site. After a short drive, we will be in search of desert specialties. In short order, Janie Ward-Langley will have you on Curve-billed thrasher, Canyon Towhee, Cactus Wren and anything else that has feathers in this prime location on the edge of Cottonwood. This will be an easy walking trip along a mostly paved road. This could be a warm walk - dress appropriately and bring water, a hat and sunscreen. We are in the desert.
