Today’s Activity: Speedy Sled Put your creativity and engineering skills to the test! In this hands-on program, participants will design and build their own mini sleds using a variety of craft materials. Once your sled is complete, you’ll send it down our indoor “hill” to see how fast it can go! Experiment with different shapes, weights, and materials to discover what makes a sled zoom. Then compete in friendly time trials to find out whose design is the fastest. The Prescott Valley Public Library Homeschool Hub is open to all community members interested in homeschooling. Whether you’re curious about what homeschooling entails, just starting out, or have been homeschooling for years, we would love to have you join us. We believe that together, we can create a supportive educational environment that fosters growth, learning, and connection.
