Astronomy on Tap Las Cruces — Beer & the Cosmos: The Quest for Universal Order

The Astronomy on Tap Las Cruces will be back on Thursday 5/7/26 6:30pm at the Boneyard Cantina downtown!! Come join us for a fun evening of an astronomy talk by Tim Kostelecky, the VP of the Astronomical Society of Las Cruces and a Brewing Chemist & Amateur Astronomer, on “Beer & the Cosmos: The Quest for Universal Order”, pub trivia, and prizes! Because science is even better with beer! Short Bio: Tim Kostelecky is a currently the VP of the Astronomical Society of Las Cruces, and has been interested in astronomy since his childhood, sharing his interests through the years by participating with a number of organizations and outreach programs. Tim contributes variable star observation data with the AAVSO and has interests in astronomical sketching and imaging. He is retired from a long career as a brewing chemist and hops technical specialist.
