Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Scorpion Safari

Join Ranger Shaun for a glow-in-the-dark bug hunt! Come walk the barrier free Gila Trail IN THE DARK! We’ll break out some blacklights and walk this 0.5-mile trail looking for scorpions by their iconic glow. With luck we might also see spiders, lizards, mice, or even snakes! Water bottles, flashlights, and closed toed shoes are required for this program. Walking or hiking sticks or poles are not necessary but are welcome if desired. NO pets please.
